René Goddess Johnson is a dance artist who has extensive experience in performance, teaching, choreographing, and academia. She brings a multitude of skills into any project. Pre or Post-Performance Discussion - Public discussions allow audience members to discover more about the choreographic and performative aspects, and how René Goddess’s artistic practices sit within the global context of contemporary dance.
Masterclass / Workshop - Masterclasses/Workshops are an opportunity to dive deeper into the performance themes and break down the important lessons to be learned. All class offerings can be formatted to meet the needs of specific populations, including: students, professionals, community, and can be geared toward multi-disciplinary projects. Classes and workshops are led by René Goddess.
Equity Reform Training - Focusing on equity reform through Maine, this workshop dives in to policies, procedures, and provision designed to equip (prospective) teachers, professionals, and lecturers with the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school, and wider community specifically through movement and theater practices.
